Trunking 2 ports on 2 Procurves togheter as 1

Hello,

I have a lefthand box with 2 nics (NIC1 and NIC2)
I bound the 2 nics togheter as 1 (the lefthand box now has one IP address)
I have 2 procurve switches
I connected NIC1 into the one Switch and NIC2 into the othter
I told switch 1 to trunk the port into trunkgroup1
I told the other switch to do the same.

Am i correct in thinking the 2 ports are now trunked accross the 2 switches because
i used one trunkgroup-name ?
