username: admin
password:admin

I just bough a TP LINK 54M Wireless router, model TL-RW340G. I want to set the password to this wireless router. So that other people cannot connect to my wireless router. Any one know how to do this?

hey there,
ok to set it up i am assuming you have the ip address for it?
possibly 19.2.168.1.1 or something like that...should be on the bottom maybe. it should also give you the defualt username and password.
maybe;
admin
1234
once you type your ip address for the router into the address bar you should then log in to access it.
from here you can change all the settings but there should be a 'security' tab or 'set password' tab some where along those lines...
so basicly you just do this...it may also come under 'encryption type' try make it WEP or something..its standard password..but you can put it how strong you like
