The IDU provides the user with TDM and Ethernet ports to connect to the link on both sides. The
IDU is available in a number of configurations:
             1. IDU-E a half 19'  1U plastic unit, providing one Ethernet port and 0-2 E1/T1 interfaces. The
IDU-E complies with FCC/ETSI/CSA standards and can be powered via 110-240VAC or -
                 48VDC.
             2. IDU-C a 19'  1U metal unit, providing two Ethernet ports and 4xE1/T1 interfaces. The IDU-E
complies with FCC/ETSI/CSA standards and can be powered via redundant 110-240VAC, -
               48VDC and 24VDC.
            3. IDU-R a half 19'  1U plastic unit for 1 x T1/E1 backup, providing 2 Ethernet ports and an
external alarms interface. IDU-R complies with FCC/ETSI/CSA standards and can be powered
                via 110-240VAC or -20--60VDC.
IDU-R is used for automatic backup of leased lines. IDU-R monitors the status of leased lines,
and in the event of a failure automatically switches to the radio link.
              The Outdoor Unit (ODU)
The ODU can be pole or wall mounted. It includes all radio components and connects to the
IDU via a CAT5 cable. The different ODUs of the WinLink 1000 product family are available at
various frequency bands and currently include the following options:
                   2.3 GHz
                    2.4  GHz (ETSI or FCC)
                    2.5 GHz (FCC)
                    4.9 GHz (FCC)
                   5.3 GHz (FCC)
                   5.4 GHz (ETSI or FCC)
                   5.8 GHz (FCC)
The ODU comes in two different form factors:
ODU with integrated 1ft flat panel antenna (available for most frequencies).
ODU with a connector for an external antenna
