My airport base station works selectively!

This is a strange one but true. I have homes in two different cities and hence I travel with the apple airport base station. The strange bit is that in one house when I connect my internet cable to the base station it works (the green light comes on) but when I take it to my house in the other city, whatever I may do e.g. reboot, create a new connection et al, the green light on the airport express does not come on, though my Mac OS 10.4.11 reads the base station, the station cannot read the net connection. I would have admitted that there may be a problem with the cable, when I attach it directly to the laptop, the connection roars. Pl help!!!!Start Free Trial
