Poor Wireless Connectivity with AP4000M

My company has recently moved to a new building.  The building is approximately 210,000 sq/ft.  We purchased 5 Proxim Orinico AP4000M's to cover our wireless network.  Briefly, we had the wireless wide open until everyone got acquianted.  However, upon locking the network down with a WEP key, connectivity dropped off greatly.  Everything seemed fine when it was wide open, but it have been that not enough users were using wireless at the time.  The current configuration of the devices is rather simple:  One SSID for 802.11a and one SSID for 802.11b/g.  The same WEP key is used on all access points.  Connectivity can go from great to awful in just a few minutes.  When it is bad, you can usually associate with the AP, but get no connectivity (can't ping if static, or can't even get IP address if DHCP).  When it's bad it seems to be bad with most or all of the AP's.

Any ideas?  This has been driving me crazy for the past few days.  Start Free Trial
