Problems with wireless network signal between buildings

Tags: Wireless Networking
We have two buildings that we are trying to establish a wireless connection between.  In building A (bldg A) we have the cable modem with a 5 foot patch cable to a Linksys WRT54GS (Wireless G Router with Speedbooster).  We have removed one of the antenae and attached a signal-range boosting peice of equipment.  That range booster runs approximately 15 feet away and is mounted to the outside of bldg A and pointing directly to the other building (bldg B).

In bldg B we have a Linksys WAP54G (Wireless G Access Point) which has been configured correctly to work in Repeater mode with the WRT54GS in bldg A.  Further we have attached another signal-range boosting peice of equipment through one of the antenae spots and run it to the outside of the building pointing directly at bldg A.  I cannot get an established link between the two peices of equipment.  It is roughly 300-350 feet from bldg A to bldg B.

In bldg A the internet and LAN works fine.  In bldg B I can assign a static IP address to a laptop and I can ping and interface with the WAP54G (Access Point).  I cannot however receive a dynamic IP address or ping/communicate with any of bldg A's equipment.

Does anyone have any experience with a similar setup that can offer advice or tell me what the problem might be?   We've spent around 20 hours working at this and still have nothing.  Thanks in advance!
