How do I extend wireless signal to my second house

Hello,

I own two homes directly next door to each other. The homes are separated by grass and are about 150 feet apart.  The wireless signal from my main house doesn't reach the second house.

I have tried purchasing different routers so I have a few different wireless routers but the signal won't reach the other house.

I tried a repeater but it slowed the connection down significantly.

I tried direction wireless antennaes but those didn't work either.

I am going to buy undeground ethernet cable and connect the two houses together.

My questions are as follows:

1. Can I use two wirless routers with only 1 internet connection?

2. How do I go about doing this?
