I'm unable to use my Linksys router to get out to the internet with Roadrunner cable.

Hi Experts,

Yesterday I purchased a Linksys Wireless G Router and I was unable to hook it up to work with my Roadrunner cable modem. I did recieved an address from the Linksys but I was never able to get out to the internet. It looks like the linksys router can't communicate with the cable modem. I thought it was the linkysys router, so I took it to a friend's house who has ATT and i pluged it in and got it to work as it should , fast and easy. i'm not sure is Roadrunner's cable modem only allows one pc to connect to it and not a router but I doubt that is the reason. Any help to resolve this would be great.Start Free Trial
