I've just been delivered a D-Link AirPlus G DWL-G510 wireless network card, which I bought from Amazon.co.uk.
I've attempted to install the card on my Vista 32bit pc, it recognises the card, but says there's something wrong with the drivers.
I've tried quite a few different ways of installing it, using the CD provided first, obviously, and so far the only method that has worked was using the 'Drive for Windows Vista', supplied here -
http://www.dlink.co.uk/?go=gNTyP9CnptFMIC4AStFCF834mptYIe5XTNvhLPG3yV3oVYx+gKltbNlwaaRp7ytsRWm5kC9PiO52eLCGv9yUQC5gx5/PL9b0TI+4+jcJgo0eXqtLbpyV6hnDrXPfe5jJO+5qpBQ=So at the moment, nothing from the CD supplied with the card is installed on my computer, only the drivers from the aforementioned web site.
I installed the driver by inserting the card in one of my computer's PCI slots, starting the computer up and because Vista didn't automatically recognise the card, I went to Control Panel, selecting Add Hardware, Have Disk, selecting the drivers from the web site, selecting the right hardware model and installing.
Here's what Device Manager has to say about the card:
This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)
