HI everyone,

I am unable to connect wirelessly from my laptop. I have had this problem for as far back as i can remember owning my laptop. Recently i had my laptop setup at my girlfriends and though i was able to connect to her Netgear router momentarily, the conenction would drop after around 2-3 mins use.

I currently have the latest driver for the pro/wireless network adapter inside my laptop. I have tried chnaging over to numerous other channels but that hasn't had any affect. I am able to connect to the web via the ethernet port (wired) but this is no use to me as i need the laptop in my room, the modem is located in the lounge.

Event viewer shows the following error when trying to connect: "the system detected that network adaptor \DEVICE\TCPIP\_[SOMEWINDOWSKEY] was disconnected from the network and the adaptors network configuration has been released. If the adaptor was disconnected it may indicate a malfunction. Contact your vendor for latest drivers".

I am with Be Broadband conencting to their BeBox wireless modem. I have spoken with their staff and they have run out of ideas. I have a number of services disabled but checked with Be tech staff whom have said all teh necessary ones are enabled on my pc and so there shouldn't be an issue.

My vendor is based in Australia, i have already updated teh drivers to Intel's latest release. Any help on this will be much appreciated.
