Cisco Wireless Bridge
I am looking for a Cisco solution to bridge a network between two buildings. The buildings are about 100 feet apart. I am looking for some equipment that can give me a rock solid connection between the buildings with good throughput.
Right now I have two Wireless G access points setup. I can get about 1 MBs throughput. I am looking for more with better reliability.

Can that be configured as a bridge netween two buildings?
No, that is just an autonomous access point. You will need to buy two bridges with some kind of directional antennas. If you are looking into cheaper ways to do it take a look at http://www.arubanetworks.c
I've demo'ed their equipment but didn't purchase because the sales guy lied to me....but the equipment looked like it would do the job. It was much much much cheaper.
As far as throughput between my two buildings, it is a 802.11g connection. If it helps you, I run a whole computer lad of 40 computers, two servers, and about 10 users in the satelite office. They never complain & I can't even tell I'm on a wireless connection when I use a computer in this building. The main thing is, if you're not experienced in shooting a wireless signal for LAN access, you need to get good support.

I'd go with the Cisco 1400 series wireless bridge. They have integrated antennas and you can also get them so you can hook up directional antennas. I set up a wireless connection between two buildings with the Cisco 1200 series bridges with directional antennas over 5 years ago & not messed with it since. To my knowledge they have never went down. The remote site is about 1/4 miles away (clear line of site) & it works great.
