wireless network speed slow

i have a server(intel quad core) with 30 systems connected to it by wireless network. here is the description of total network setup
1 server
4 accespoints in four different rooms in same floor
1 16 port switch
1 adsl router
server is connected to switch by cate5e wire
from there all the four accespoint are connected to swith by cate5e wire
and all the client nodes are connected by wireless (54 g) lan card with respective accespoint in there room
i have this setup for past 3 years
past 3 months the network speed has drastically gone down so i upgraded my server still my speed is down
ping reply to accespoint gives this
repl from 192.168.0.91 : bytes=32 time=3ms TTL=64
time variesbetween 1ms to 5 ms

experts please help me to resolve this issue thanx in advance
