I know how to set up ssid and wpa myself.<br />

Im wondering is it advantageous for laptops roaming between access points on the same network that have the same ssids?<br />

In a non tech way it stops the APs along the way asking &nbsp;- well who are you lapotop? i.e. save on authentication? <br />
<br />
If it isnt an advantage for roaming laptops I will stick with the way Ive been doing things. <br />
