Wireless Client Mode Router Setup - Linksys and Netgear

Asked by nuclearwerewolf in Network Routers, Wireless Network Cards & Adapters, Wireless Networking Range Extenders

Tags: Wireless Client Mode Router Configuration, Netgear Client Mode, Linksys Client Mode

I have been doing some research to find no running method of getting the two routers to work together, in one accord.

Here is the configuration:
Connection Type: DSL
Router 1 Directly connected to DSL: Netgear WNR834B v2
Router 2 - Wireless Router, not hard connected:  WRT310N V1

What I want to achieve, is to allow connectivity for 2 additional machines in another room, using
hardwire (Ethernet), from Router 1's connection (wireless). I would be connecting to Router 1 via Wireless Signal from Router 2. Once Router 2 is connected to Router 1's online network,
I would proceed to use 2 CAT 6 Ethernet cables to connect from Router 2 to the destination hardwired machines; which would allow internet because of the connection to Router 1.

First is this achievable?
Secondly, how?

Any help with this scenario would be much appreciated!
