Networked Multifunction printer/scanner

Hi,
Been having problems with an HP Colour Laserjet CM1015 multifunction printer/scanner.
Originally bought as we thought it was network ready, apparently not! Attached to an Edimax MFP Print Server - specifically to allow shared scanning.

The Edimax print server seems to be working & configured ok according to its setup wizard & all PCs on the network are able to print by creating a port with the IP address of the print server.

However i am completely unable to setup the printers scanner! How is this achieved in XP?
