Can't print to printer NO IDEA why.. Please help Canon IR c3080 - Vista

Hi.  I've had this reoccuring problem and I can't figure out what is wrong.  I'm on an office network.  The printer is a Canon Image Runner c3080.  It is installed on the server.  I've installed the latest universal print driver to the server, which was compatible with Windows Vista.  We've also installed a PCL5 print driver as well.

Uninstalling the printer on my local machine, and clearing out the drivers on my local machine, and then reinstalling the printer, seems to fix the problem, but it only works for a short while.  I've done this countless times, I need a permanent solution to this problem.

I can see no reason why the printer wouldn't work on my machine, and work fine for everyone else around the office.  There is 1 or 2 other people using Vista machines, but they don't have the same problems I do.

The only thing I can think of at this point is that it may have something to do my operating system.  Because it's Vista Home, I cannot join the domain like everyone else in the office.  I also get tons of these errors in my event log

Event ID 4321
Source NetBT
Type Error
Description The name "<server name>" could not be registered on the Interface with IP address <ip address 1>. The machine with the IP address <ip address 2> did not allow the name to be claimed by this machine.

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks!
