XP using IP Address of old WiFi Connection

I've a user on our office LAN that uses his own laptop.
The laptop is running XP Pro SP2 with onboard WiFi.

When the laptop is used at his house, it is given an IP of 192.168.0.4, he then hibernates the computer and brings it into the office.
When Windows resumes in our office, it sees our Wireless Network and connects to it, but still attempts to use it's old IP (192.168.0.4). In the process, it takes down our mail server temporarily (which is on 192.168.0.4) until Windows realises that it shouldn't be using that IP, and requests one from our DHCP server.

Short of telling the user never to hibernate his computer if he wants to bring it within 100m of our office, what can I do.

As far as I'm concerned, Windows should sending a DHCP request when it connects to a new Wireless Lan, and not assume that it can use an IP from one network on every other Wireless Network out there.

My only thought is to add a script that releases the all dhcp leases when it's hibernated, but that seems a little drastic.
