Browse All TopicsXp remote web desktop: I enabled it in IIS and opened the same port in XP firewall and linksys wrt54gs, I also enable regular remote desktop and opened 3389 in both XP firewall and the router. Remote web desktop is working from inside the router (lan) but not outside. I am using wireless mac filter as security on the router. Even if I make the IIS server DMZ in router, remote web desktop isnt working on WAN-any suggestions?

I believe you need to enable port forwarding on the router so that all requests on 3389 are directed to the internal IP address of that computer.
