Hi edmund7s,
you do not provide enough information about the problem you are experiencing.
Do you add the Hp Laserjet printer to you Windows 2003 Small Business Server.
You should go to Printer and Faxes on your Windows 2003 Small Business server and then add Hp Laserjet printer as a local printer and configure a standard tecp/ip port with the D-link Print server's ip address.
I would also check the USB wire and usb connections that you have between the Dlink print server and the Hp Laserjet printer. Also check the ethernet cable between the Dlink Print server and your switch. Make sure the Dlink print server has static ip address configured.
Regards,

I have tried to reset the whole print server and did add it aas local printer and configure it as a standard TCP/IP port with it's IP address. But I think what the problem is with the print server. I looked at their website and tried to install the latest firmware, but the upgrade can't proceed for some odd reason. It kept on saying checksum error. What could have happened?
