I need to share a wireless ISP connection. At this moment one PC with a Wireless NIC connected to outdoor antenna is connected to WISP using PPPoE connection. I would like to share this connection to my local LAN. This LAN contains both wired and wireless clients.
Now, I know things about wired networks, but little about wireless. Is there a device than can work as AP and client at the same thime, since I guess I need it in client mode for connecting to WISP, and in AP mode to allow notebooks to connect to it as clients. Or I need two devices, one router that will do PPPoe & NAT, and one AP connected to it that works in client mode?
WISP allows only one IP address to connect to it, so I need NAT involved.
Thanks,
Goran
