Wireless print server not authenticating on a Cisco 4400 WLC

I have been trying to get a wireless print server attached to our CISCO 4400 WLC and every attempt has failed at the authentication stage.  The device associates with the access point but will not authenticate.  The policy manager state shows 8021x_reqd.

I have attached a multitude of other devices to the wireless network with no problem,  wireless print servers seems to be a major problem.

Any help would be appreciated

We use WPA authentication, all other devices apart from wireless print servers work without issue.  I have tried various makes and models, all have the same issue.
