Browse All TopicsI have just created a tunnel from our HQ building to building's we just purchased. I can find through networkview all of the intermec AP's in both buildings we recently purchased while on site. I cannot find the AP's through the tunnel from our HQ to those buildings. all of the computers adn printers come up adn even the equipment running off the AP's but not the AP's them selves.
does anyone have any idea what could cause this. I do not have any other intermec equipment in any of our other locations so I do not have any experience with the particular ap's. I have most of my expereince with Psion Teklogix and Cisco but I have never seen this type of issue with those AP's.

There are two possibilities I can think of from a general networking perspective.
1) Your APs do not have the correct default router configured and therefore cannot respond to any requests that don't originate from their own network.
2) Your Network View software is using broadcasts to discover traffic, which won't pass over layer 3 tunnels.
Are you able to ping the devices across the tunnel? If you can't, look at point 1 as your most likely culprit. If you can, point 2 is more probable.
