How do I transfer files from one computer to another computer?

I'm new to IT and I had an issue where I needed to get a file from one computer and place it in a directory for some vendor to be able to pick up this file. I did not know how to do this so I got went to the other computer on the network and uploaded it with my yahoo account. That's how I was able to get it on my computer and then I just emailed the vendor the file. However, I know there must be a way to transfer a file from computer a to computer b or move it to whatever directory this vendor specifies. Can someone tell me how I can do this?Start Free Trial
