Browse All TopicsI need to create a mandatory profile on a mobile computer we have that will be installed in a truck. This will have a wireless link into our office but it won't be a realiable connection. What i need to do is setup a local mandatory profile that a user will use that doesn't change. This user is a active directory user and not a local user. We cant use a network share profile as the internet connection it to unreliable. How to i make the active directory users profile on the machine mandatory?
I have tried changing the ntuser.dat file to .man for the user = whenever i reboot the computer hangs while shutting down.

Instead of a server profile path you should be able to use a local path (\\computername\profile\tr
You will have to share the local folder first.
