NVIDIA PROBLEM PLEASE HELP

I have an:
Acer Aspire X1200
4050e AMD Athlon
3GB DDR2 memory
320GB SATA hard disk
Super Multi drive!

Every time I turn it on it says:

DISK BOOT FAILURE INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER

I cant log on to my PC. I can't even get to the log on menu how do I get around the boot agent and fix this so I can get on my PC? I ordered system recovery disks from ACER but as I expected they didn't work. I can't even get my pc to go into safe mode. Please help I am a student and a mother of 2 and I need my pc!
