Mouse does not work after new motherboard

After my motherboard died, I decided to upgrade my motherboard and processor. I had a Pentium D (dual) with an ECS motherboard, and switched to a Phenom 9500 (quad) with an ASUS motherboard. The problem I'm having is that my mouse no longer works. It is plugged into the USB port (which is working) and has power (the light is on). The computer does not recognize it. I tried a PS/2 port with no luck, and my keyboard is working in the USB also. The mouse works in other computers, and worked before all the motherboards drivers were installed.

I am using Vista Ultimate x64 SP1.

Any help would be much apprieciated. I think I may have to reinstall Windows to get everything working right, but I'd like to be able to back up my computer without having to try and do it with only a keyboard.Start Free Trial
