Browse All TopicsI just got the HP All-in-One 2610xi and while installing I keep getting this error:
This system does not meet one or more of the minimum requirements needed to install this product. (And then in the box below it says:)
-This product type does not match the list of supported product types.
-This product suite does not match the list of supported product suites.
Now to my knowledge I'm running with all the necessary requirements: Windows 2000, over 256 MB RAM, 1 GB of space, and Internet Explorer 6.0. After failing to install, I plugged in the printer with a USB cord and my computer recognized it. So it's just the software that's not installing. I checked for Windows updates and there was none (I currently have Service Pack 4). I looked on HP's website for an answer but they said nothing of this specific error. What do I do?

I called HP support and it turned that I need to hold down Ctrl+Shift
when I pressed Cancel after the install failed. This did the trick.
