Problems using fax auto-answer with Laserjet 2840 on Centrex

We have an HP Laserjet 2840 all-in-one which uses a Centrex line for the fax
The machine is set to auto-answer incoming faxes and this works with external calls
However incoming calls that come from another fax number within our Centrex group are not auto-answered, it just rings
I think the problem is down to the fact that the Centrex internal call ring is different to the external call ring (internal rings three times, external twice; the same as normal PSTN lines)
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to get round this?Start Free Trial
