Setting up a HP JetDirect
Hi - I'm having a problem setting up J6039B Jetdirect print server - it's connected directly to the router but when I print out the configuration page i get the IP address 192.0.0.192 with the same number for the gateway - I tried to reset it but still no joy - it should be in the range of the router 192.168.1.1 ....
any ideas or step by step guide?

It sounds as if the JD is not using DHCP to get an address. Try doing a cold reset, as follows:
Make sure the printer's power is on. Unplug the JD from the printer. Press and hold the TEST button. While holding the TEST button, plug the JD back into the printer. Hold the button for about 5 sce longer and then release the button.
Press the TEST button again once to print the Configuration page, and you should see a valid IP address
