any ideas or step by step guide?

It sounds as if the JD is not using DHCP to get an address. Try doing a cold reset, as follows:
Make sure the printer's power is on. Unplug the JD from the printer. Press and hold the TEST button. While holding the TEST button, plug the JD back into the printer. Hold the button for about 5 sce longer and then release the button.
Press the TEST button again once to print the Configuration page, and you should see a valid IP address
