The driver is included in Windows by default. Go to control panel, printers, add printer, and complete the wizard.

It should probably auto-detect it when you plug it in and locate the correct driver. If it doesn't, plug it in and go to
Start > Printers and Faxes > Add a Printer and follow the prompts. An HP driver is probably already in the XP Library.
If the driver isn't part of XP's library already, the safest place to get the driver is from HP itself. I've located the Laserjet 4 driver at:

How are you connecting this printer to the laptop.. are you printing to it via the network or locally?
