Something like a Laserjet 5m should do the trick if you can get one for $20. The older Laserjet series will prove to be more reliable than later ones.

The old HP Laserjet Series II survived for ages. There have been some out on the factory floor of a Automotive manufacturing plany I worked for that hadn't been serviced in ages. This all around areas where spot welding is going on and tons of metal debris clouded the area.
The only thing I had to do in the year of service I gave supporting it was replace the printer cartrige a couple of times. each time I wiped it down and cleaned up the air intake.

Look for a HP LaserJet 3, 4 or 5 series...
Although is an old model, it's a very good printer for your needs (and for your wallet)...
