try to uninstall all Canon software from add / remove programs, then run this : uk/pages/i nfo/kdl/ut ilities.as p? Mode=Que ry&Type=Dr iver%20Del eter%20Uti lity

then try to reinstall again.
You can also test the printer on another PC, to be sure it is still ok
