Can't delete printer

Asked by jgcne in Printers & Scanners

Tags: delete, printer

Tried to delete a networked printer from a Win XP workstation. Still says Status Unavailable - Deleting. Tried stopping and starting the spooler. Tried deleting SHD and SPL files in C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\PRINTERS (there weren't any). Tried shutting oof the printer while the spooler was down. Tried removing from the registry, can't find it under HKEY_ CURRENT_USER. Any ideas?Start Free Trial
