The Dell 962 uses USB 1.1. Use the driver installation and a usb cable to install it.

If you do want to go wireless, Dell have a wireless adapter for it. See

This is just a copy and paste from my previous post in your other question.

The printer in question, the Hp laserjet 2600n is a network ready printer. It has an ethernet port. So you would hardwire the printer to the network and assign it a static ip so it doesn't change. The you get your computer, whether wireless or wired, add the printer as a network printer. To do this, go to control panel, printers and faxes, open the add printer wizard, click next on the first screen, on the following screen make sure the only thing checked is "local printer attached to this computer", in the follow screen click on create new port and using the dropdown menu select standard tcp/ip, in the following screen you will have to put the static ip of the printer. After this point everything else is self explanitory.

The wireless router in question most likely has a built in 4 port switch so you will still use an ethernet cable to connect the printer to the network. If you know what type of router it is please give me the name of the manufacturer and model and i'll let you know for sure.
Sorry i didn't pay attention to the printer in this post, but the idea is mostly the same and like hdhondt said, if it doesn't have a network port then you need to purchase an adapter from dell. Most likely you will use their software to configure the adapter. Might even work through the browser, not sure these days
