Printer not holding it's IP address

Hey all I have an HP 2015dn that is not holding it's ip address.  I am trying to assign it a static ip, subnet, and gateway however it will not hold the ip address.  When looking at the setup page it just has ' - ' where the ip address should be.  It keeps the subnet and gateway though.  I've tried a factory reset already but that didnt help either.  I'm thinking it's time to ship it back to HP.  It's not even a month old either.  Any thoughts?
