I need an MFP-type device that will scan documents from a flatbed or sheetfeeder, and send them to a network share. I have looked at HP and Brother devices but I am not sure if they will support the precise functionality i need. I do not want to have the device tethered to a desktop; I wish to set the scan destination to a UNC path and have all of the scans land in one centralized location, ideally as PDFs. Any suggestions?
