I need to reset the internal admin password on a Konica MInolta BizHub C350.

Just inherited the printer with no record of existing password

are you looking for the admin password or the service mod password???... if it's the admin you could try the default for that machine is "12345678" or "00000000"..... if it's the service mode pass the only way to reset it is to replace the NV-RAM

which you can login and open a ticket to get a new one here

http://www.mykonicaminolta.com/logon/Logon

(a lot cheaper than replacing the main PWB)

It's the admin pass.

Already tried both the default admin passwords with no luck.

Is there a way to reset the admin password?

i'm pretty sure you can do that in service mode... do you know what the service mode password is (if it was rented... then the local service tech guy should have it)

by: DextertronicPosted on 2009-05-30 at 19:18:08ID: 24511177

The printer was purchased outright 3 years ago so there is no specific service tech guy for this machine.
Are there any default service mode passwords?

bypass the tech rep log in by stop-0-stop-3. Try it when you get to where you put in the tech rep password. Then stop-9 gets you into security mode.

by: ChrisN131Posted on 2009-05-30 at 19:28:30ID: 24511192

00000000 or 0000 or 12345678 is usually default

by: ChrisN131Posted on 2009-05-30 at 19:38:35ID: 24511207

or  Fiery.1

by: DextertronicPosted on 2009-05-30 at 20:28:26ID: 24511309

Where doyou access the tech rep login?

by: ChrisN131Posted on 2009-05-30 at 20:48:22ID: 24511353

I meant service mode sorry

by: DextertronicPosted on 2009-05-31 at 17:14:00ID: 24514473

Where do you access service mode?

by: LisijPosted on 2009-06-02 at 10:49:23ID: 24529473

on your front panel.
press the said combo (thanks for it btw, forgot it myself and was very upset about it)
you will get into special mode that probably will allow you to change admin pwd.
