Get Device Status port for Canon MFD's

I have a bunch of Canon Multi Function Devices that have an option to "Get Device Status" by pushing a button when I am in the properties of the printer. I believe my networking section turned off the port that this feature uses. Does anyone know what the port number is that Canon uses for this function?

I have few iR5055 and I have no idea what you're looking for
you can browse \\Printername or \\PrinterIP and should get to the printer management page. no ports required

most often, it is port 80 and 81. sometimes it can be 3501+3502 or 5410+5411 and there are many more combinations

you need to more specific by telling us the model number of your printer.
if you have multiple models, noting them all down would be better.

Sorry if that was to vauge. I am using Canon Image Runners. I have many different models.
i.e. iR  2270, 5870, 3025, 3035, 5055 ect.
The button I am refering to is under printer properties, device settings tab.  (note attached pic)  The button I am talking about is just above cancel .  "Get Device Status"

I see - You are going through the web interface. I am looking at the properties for the specific printer through the print server.

@chuku, the image you posted comes from the browser pointed to your printer IP

Symone's picture comes from the printer properties dialog box.

@Symone, the iR series depends on the same ports 80+81 for status notification.
if you were to unlock these ports from your router (or get your sysad to do it) you would be successful in pinging your printer for status notifications.

I found it. The port these printers use is 47545.

what revision is your fiery? that port is a recent development. if your printers are less than 1 years old then it is 47545
but if they are older, 80+81 are the correct ports.

just to be safe, it would be better to keep all three open.
