we use isa 2000 as a proxy. all pcs are directed to that ip under internet explorer options. isa is configured to allow a group called internet users access to the internet. all we do is add a new user to this group and they get web access etc.
as this is the only function and it dosent work 100% as it sends a lot of web access requests out using username administrator rather than their own name. (this is what shows up in surfcontrol) i have talked to surf control and they say that ISA is the problem here.
is there any product out there that i can use to do the job of ISA or will i just get ISA 2006?

ISA 2006 is the best product if you are staying an old 32-bit operating system as the ISA host machine. If you are moving forward with a supported mainstream OS then you will be at least heading towards 2008 and 64-bit. Forefront Threat Management Gateway is the new version of ISA server - due imminently.
