Hello,
Fresh install of Vista 32 bit. I have a print server call prntsvr. I open the prntsvr share page and see all my printers. I 2x click the printer, it installs the drivers and then I'm able to connect to it since I see the print queue box appears.
Lately, for some printers, I 2x click the printer. I install the driver and then I get an error message Windows cannot connect to the printer error 0x0000007e after the driver installation.
I don't get it. I can ping the printer and I can install the printer if I install the printer locally using a local TCP/IP port. Now I know it's a work-around but it's not the solution that I want considering we're over 150 users and so far they're all OK AND it's easier for me to monitor if they're all going through the server as it is easier to monitor.
Thanks
