After installing a new hard drive and Vista OS on a tower the Dell 926 printer would only print one page and then hang. &nbsp;Uninstalled the drivers and software, even used Dells special removal tool, but it still hangs. &nbsp;Found a resultant error in Event Viewer stating The dlcx-device service is marked as an interactive service. &nbsp;However, the system is configured to not allow interactive services. &nbsp;This service may not function properly.<br />
Went into services.msc &nbsp;and found everything OK for Interactive Services Detection. &nbsp;It was automatic for startup type, but stopped and restarted it anyway. &nbsp;Still hangs. &nbsp;The dlcx-device is associated with dlcxcoms.exe which is a Dell AIO and photo printer driver. &nbsp; <br />

dlcx-device hangs up Dell printer

A printer is a peripheral which makes a persistent human readable representation of graphics or text on paper or similar physical media.
