LDAP verification failed for the following reason(s): The LDAP server or the connection has failed..

Theres a document on how to configure LDAP for a Laserjet 9500. Follow the screens and make sure you have your information correct.

I tried this, but no luck. Under the search STEPS, as soon as i click on run, i get this error message.

That filter appears to be missing a closing bracket that should be after the t*)
I think it should read
ldap_search_s(ld, " DC=domain,DC=com;", 2, "(&(objectClass=person)(displayname=fontanilla,t*))", attrList,  0, &msg)

If you can somehow change that, it should work. I don't use any 9500 printers, but hopefully you can change it on the printer config web page or the control panel.
