Can't change my HP 2015 printer driver from Class driver back to it's original driver
I was testing why I could print a Barcode and changed my printer Driver to HP P2015 PCL6 Class Driver and now the friken thing won't let me change it back. I get "Printer settings could not be saved. This operation is not supported"
I've removed and re-installed and it always uses the class driver.
How to I fix?

There is no Software in control panel in Win 8. I deleted the printer. Removed all the drivers for Class. re-booted and started the re-install and it chooses the class driver.
Now what?
Now what?
It's named "Programs and Features", there you can normally uninstall the HP software. Often the install CD of HP also includes utilities to completely remove their driver, so if you can't properly uninstall via Programs and Features, check on that CD for such tools (often they are batch files within a CCC directory).

I looked in Programs and Features and there was no HP software for that printer. I'll get the CD today and try.

Got the CD, found CCC and utilities. Nothing on the would open and run. Most likely because the computer is 64 bit. I found an article about deletling everything in the spool folder under w32x86. I did that and it still tries to install the printer with the Class driver. This is p---ing me off.
Any other help would be appreciated

First go to Control Panel > Software and see if you can uninstall it there. If it's not listed, got to Devices and Printers. First delete the printer. Then click on any other printer and a submenu pops up with "Print server properties". Click on that, and then on the Drivers tab. Remove any instances of the printer from the list. Then reinstall the correct driver.
