Hello Experts - I am attempting to upgrade a 2003 print server to 2012 using the Printer Migration Wizard. &nbsp;The export goes well and indicates success but the import fails to actually bring the printers over. &nbsp;I get the following errors for every single printer:<br />

Printbrm.exe (the Printer Migration Wizard or the command-line tool) failed to restore print queue flr2_canon_C5045_ps. The restore process will continue, skipping this queue. Error: 0x80070706.<br />

Migrating print server from 2003 to 2012

A printer is a peripheral which makes a persistent human readable representation of graphics or text on paper or similar physical media. Traditional printers are being used more for special purposes, like printing photographs or artwork, and are no longer a must-have peripheral; 3D printing has become an area of intense interest, allowing the creation of physical objects. An image scanner is a device that optically scans images, printed text, handwriting, or an object, and converts it to a digital image. Hand-held scanners, where the device is moved by hand, have evolved from text scanning "wands" to 3D scanners used for industrial design, reverse engineering, test and measurement, orthotics, gaming and other applications.

Windows Server 2012 is the first version of Windows Server to have no support for Itanium-based computers since Windows NT 4.0. Windows Server 2012, now in its second release (Windows Server 2012 Release 2) includes Foundation, Essentials, Standard and Datacenter, and does not support IA-32 or IA-64 processors.
