Print Quality and Speed Loss Using Terminal Server

Asked by GDunsmore in Remote Desktop/Terminal Services, Printers & Scanners, Computer Servers

I have a custom application running on a Windows 2003 Server SP2 and some users run the application using Terminal Services. The print quality of the reports in the TS sessions is poor with letters running together. When the application is not run through TS the print quality is good. I have tried different fonts in the applicaton but this does not improve it. We are also using ThinPrint and Konect to manage the thin client sessions and printer mappings. I don't know if these utilities override the print drivers somehow or why the text quality is so poor?
Any help to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated.Start Free Trial
