Question

How do I map the USB port to a comm port?

I am trying to work with my TI calculator on my computer.  I have it pluged in wth a Silver link cable, the driver for that cable is loaded, but when I search for the device it only searches comm ports and cant find the device.  I figure if there is a way to map a usb port to a comm port that will work, I have XP Pro, sp2.  Thanks for any help

nobus, thank you for your response, I'm looking into the links but non seem to be specifically about my issue; communicating whit my Ti-calc that is cnnected via USB.  I will say that I was able to do this before with the software and drivers I got from the TI web site but now they dont seem to be working.
