USB Keyboard and mouse not working in windows xp
Hey,
I have a PC and while it is booting up, I can use both the Keyboard and Mouse, but as soon as i get to the windows logon screen they both stop working. The pc does not have PS/2 Ports at all and i have tried the following:
- Plugging them in before turning on pc & afterwards
- Waiting for them to 'install'
- Tried other keyboard and mouses
thx

Have tried the first option.
I can select safe mode, but it also comes up to the logon screen and i cannot use my keyboard or mouse to select a user to logon.

Check your BIOS for an option labeled "Legacy USB support" (or something to that effect). Enabling that will usually resolve this problem.

It is enabled.
Under 'USB Devices Enabled' it has : 1 keyboard, 1 mouse
