Have tried the first option.<br />
I can select safe mode, but it also comes up to the logon screen and i cannot use my keyboard or mouse to select a user to logon.

Check your BIOS for an option labeled &quot;Legacy USB support&quot; (or something to that effect). &nbsp;Enabling that will usually resolve this problem.

I have a PC and while it is booting up, I can use both the Keyboard and Mouse, but as soon as i get to the windows logon screen they both stop working. &nbsp;The pc does not have PS/2 Ports at all and i have tried the following:<br />

- Plugging them in before turning on pc &amp;&nbsp;afterwards<br />
- Waiting for them to 'install'<br />
