Has anyone run in to this issue I believe it's a dirty roller or something

The HP Color LaserJet Q5953A Magenta Print Cartridge could be bad (like leaks toner).. Have you tried to blow out the printer with a air can?

Are the dots regularly spaced? In that case it's likely the magenta imaging unit (drum). Check the distance between the dots and compare that with 3 x drum diameter. If it is, replace the drum
