Browse All TopicsI have not had luck setting up the ScanJet 5100c ever since I upgraded to Windows 2000. The system doesn't seem to recognize the scanner is installed. I have tried the device manager, troubleshoot, downloaded new drivers and tries reinstalled the existing software. Nothing seems to work.
Recently when you try to remove and reload the system goes into an infinte login do loop.
Any suggestions?

Remove the scanner and then boot the system up. Remove the scanning software and then do yourself a favor: Load the sj5200c software instead.

It doesn't have the same problem in 2000 that the sj5100c does, just remember to load the parallel drivers and not the USB ones during install.
