HP Digital Sender 9250c

Guys can you point me in the right direction to download drivers for the 9250c, I can only find the firmware on the (HP) site, I need vista 64bit , server 2008 64bit , and xp 32 bit drivers


any help appreciated,

The Digital Sender 9250 does not need, does not have any "drivers" like a USB connected Scanner. It has a built-in PC to send the scans directly over the network to a shared folder/FTP or SMTP Gateway for E-Mail or to the HP Digital Sending Software (which is included with the 9250). With the Digital Sending Software you can centrally manage multiple 9250's as well as add additional functionality as scan to lanfax, scan to folder or email with OCR text recognition or create user defined fields on the control panel to generate metadata.

Don't be irritated by the "demo" on the download webpage, it is the full version and for the 9250C you will not need any license. The HP Digital Sending Software will generate a lincense automatically when you add the 9250 into the software. The 9250 does include a license in the price of the box, so you can use the software right away.

forgot to say that you can use scan to email/scan to folder without the additional Digital Sending Software and the configuration is done via its built-in webserver, so call the ip or hostname in your browser :)

great, thanks so much, do you know if there is any digital sending software compatible with server 2008 x64 ??

I would rather install the management console on the server but that links says only server 2003 / 2k and xp pro are supported

greetings. No, according to the infos I have the HP Digital Sending Software is not x64 compatible, maybe it runs in 32 bit compatibility mode or something (don't know x64 systems sorry).

question is, do you really need the software? If you tell me what you want to do I can tell you if you really need it or not :)

The HP Digital Sending Software is the "bridge" between the device and a Lanfax Server, it does not contain any fax functionality itself. Most Lanfax Server products are supported or also Faxing through an provider by E-Mail is supported too, eFax.
